First of all, I feel incredibly guilty. I genuinely have not had time to write over the past few weeks! So i’m going to do a very quick update on my first 2 weeks on slimming world after my hugeeeeeeee Christmas gain.
So in my first week i lost a huge 7lb which i was extremely proud of. I have massive gains but massive losses also which obviously evens itself out.

So here are a few of my favourite Slimming World meals over the past few weeks. I’ll link all the recipes underneath.

All my meals have been made from scratch this week which I think has made a huge difference. I’ve found that actually, i really, really enjoy cooking and look forward to planning healthy meals that Sean and I can enjoy. Obviously, a lot of my favourite sweet treats/snacks come at night time in the form of a treat plate! In the past when I have lost weight (or struggled to lose weight) I have binged on a Saturday or Sunday. By binge i mean a full…. on…. binge. I would eat anything and everything in sight until I felt so sick that I couldn’t move. For me it was a release, something to look forward to each week. Now, I know that with slimming world I can have treat plates EVERY NIGHT. This keeps me so much more motivated to stay on track knowing that every single day I can eat chocolate if I wish. Here are a few of my favourite treat plates this week.

In week two I lost 2lb which at first, I was disappointed with as I wanted 2.5lb to take me into the 12s again. However, 9lb down in 2 weeks is still soooo good and I am loving food AND losing weight.
What more could a girl want?
